Jezabel under her apple tree among the leaves on her walk during her last Autumn

Green leaves turn to gold,
from crimson to russet brown,
until they gently fall.

Rustling Autumn leaves
turning a rich golden brown
blow down on the wind.

Our Autumn pageant
embellishing our landscape
with flamboyant colour.

Vernal tapestry,
green, gold, crimson and russet
woven miracle.

**************

Melodramatic
green, amber and bright red shades
light up our landscape.
